We can build a deck or repair one for you.
But, if you are considering building a new deck, it would help if you have some idea of the answers to the questions (below) before we speak about what you want. Questions to consider are:
- What size deck do you want in length and width in feet and inches if you know
- How high off the ground does the deck need to be?
- Do you need steps to access the deck from ground level?
- What type of railing do you want around the deck?
- What type of surface material do you want – i.e., wood or a composite material?
- What stain color do you want on any wooden surfaces of the deck?
- If you live in an HOA community, do you need to obtain approval from an Architectural Review Committee or the HOA Board in order to proceed?
- Do you need a building permit from a local government agency before you can proceed to build?
We will be glad to come see the location and provide a no-obligation estimate of the cost; however, the process will move much more quickly if you have already considered the answers to those questions..
Next Steps After Construction
Keep in mind that constructing a deck is not the end of the process. The wood in a deck needs to sealed and stained. But, this process should never happen until at least a month or more after the deck construction is complete.
